SAN FRANCISCO – California men's basketball head coach Mark Fox and student-athletes Grant Anticevich and Andre Kelly will represent the Golden Bears at the 2021 Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Media Day in San Francisco on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Cal trio will preview the upcoming 2021-22 season alongside fellow representatives from each Pac-12 program at the conference's annual kickoff event.
Coverage of media day will be available across Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff will begin Wednesday with remarks and availability at 10 a.m. PT and will be joined on stage by Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer in charge of men's basketball Jamie Zaninovich. Those availabilities will be carried live on Pac-12 Network each morning and live studio coverage featuring each program will begin at 12 p.m. PT.
A press conference featuring Cal's trio of Fox, Anticevich and Kelly will be streamed at 12:05 p.m. on Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. Cal's representatives will later join the Pac-12 Networks crew for a televised segment at 2:45 p.m. PT.

Anticevich returns for a fifth season in Berkeley in 2021-22 and is the longest-tenured Golden Bear on the roster. The sharp-shooting Australian averaged a career-high 8.9 points (8.1 PPG in Pac-12 play) a season ago and was third on the team in rebounding (4.5 RPG). Anticevich has started 53 of Cal's previously 61 games dating back to the start of the Mark Fox era and has shot 40.4 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from behind the arc during that span.
Kelly is Cal's top returning scorer and rebounder after averaging 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a junior in 2020-21. The Stockton, California, native ranked second in the Pac-12 with a 58.7 percent shooting clip from the field and scored in double figures 15 times along with two double-doubles. In 92 career games played, Kelly has averaged 8.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 56.4 percent from the field. Kelly, a Legal Studies major, earned a spot on the 2020-21 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
