Daniels, McIntosh, and Smith to Appear at Pac-12 Media Days

SAN FRANCISCO – Cal women's basketball third-year head coach Charmin Smith and student-athletes Dalayah Daniels and Leilani McIntosh will appear at the 2021 Pac-12 Conference Women's Basketball Media Day at the Pac-12 headquarters in San Francisco on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Fans can follow along via the Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff will begin Pac-12 Media Day with opening remarks at 10:00 a.m. PT and will be joined by Senior Associate Commissioner Teresa Gould on Pac-12 Network.

Smith, Daniels, and McIntosh will appear live on the Women's Basketball Media Day On-Air segment at 12:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Now app, Pac-12.com. A press conference with the trio will take place at 1:20 p.m. PT and will be streamed on Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.

Daniels is back for her sophomore campaign after earning Pac-12 Freshman Honorable Mention accolades last season. The native of Seattle led the Golden Bears in minutes played (599), points (202), points per game (11.9) and field goals made (70) last season. In Pac-12 play she finished with eight games in double figures, including a season-high 24 points against Arizona on Feb. 19.

McIntosh is back for her third season after putting up career-best numbers as a sophomore. In 2020-21, she played in and started 15 games for the Bears. She finished fifth in the nation in minutes played at 38.3, her 10.1 points per contest was second on the team, and she finished seventh in the Pac-12 in assists per game with 3.7.

SCHEDULE, TICKETS & MORE
The Bears' full 2021-22 schedule will be unveiled later this week, and can be accessed here. Cal will play host to eight non-conference games starting Tuesday, Nov. 9 against Sacramento State. A pair of exhibition games against Westmont and Saint Martins will be held at Haas Pavilion on Thursday, Oct. 28 and Thursday, Nov. 4 both taking place at 7:00 p.m. PT.
