Ducks Host ITA Northwest Regional This Week

EUGENE, Ore. – The men's tennis team will host the ITA Northwest Regional Championships beginning Wednesday at the Student Tennis Center. Champions and finalists in the main draw advance to the ITA National Fall Championships (Nov. 4-7) in Seattle.
 
Oregon's preseason No. 12 ranked doubles team of Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele have already earned their place in the Super Regionals after making the quarterfinals of the ITA All-American last week. Both Charlton and Vandecasteele, as well as Jesper Klöv-Nilsson have earned spots in the Super Regionals singles draw. 
 
Senior Nima Movassaghi, freshman Ryoma Matsushita, sophomore Luke Vandecasteele and junior Avi Shugar will be competing in singles play for the Ducks this week. The doubles draw will be posted later today.
