Oct 11, 2021

SAN FRANCISCO – The kickoff of the new women's basketball season means it's time for Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day in San Francisco. Twenty-four student-athletes and 12 coaches will preview the upcoming season this Tuesday, October 12, live at the conference office. The Washington State women's basketball program will be represented by fourth-year head coach Kamie Ethridge along with fifth-year senior Krystal Leger-Walker and sophomore Charlisse Leger-Walker.

Live studio coverage of the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day is set to begin this Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 12 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network. Washington State's Pac-12 Media Day segment on the Pac-12 Network will air live at 1:45 p.m. PT. Coach Ethridge and the Leger-Walker sisters will take the podium at Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day at 2:20 p.m. PT and can be watched live on Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.

Coverage of the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day will be available across Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. Commissioner George Kliavkoff is set to begin the day with remarks and availability at 10 a.m. PT and will be joined on stage by Senior Associate Commissioner in charge of women's basketball Teresa Gould.

Washington State is coming off one of its most impressive seasons in program history, as the Cougars earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament in 2020-21 and earned the program's first AP top-25 ranking. The Cougars are the only team in the Pac-12 to return all five starters from a season ago, which also includes 2020-21 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Charlisse Leger-Walker.
