This Week

  • Each Pac-12 Men's Soccer program will return to non-conference action this week, with four of the six matches away from league campuses.
  • The Pac-12 boasts a collective 24-8-5 non-conference record (.716) entering this week, the best non-league win percentage of any conference.
  • Oregon State and UCLA are the lone home sides as the Beavers welcome Saint Mary's on Friday and Bruins host No. 14 LMU on Thursday.

Last Week

  • Washington (11-0-0, 4-0-0) continued its record start with a dominant sweep through the Bay Area. The Huskies cruised past Stanford, 3-1, before blanking California, 4-0, to improve to 11-0-0 - the best start since the Pac-12 began sponsoring men's soccer in 2000.
  • Oregon State (7-1-2, 3-0-1) extended its unbeaten streak to six consecutive matches with a 1-0 win at California and 2-2 draw at Stanford, earning four points to help the Beavers (10 pts.) keep pace with the league-leading Huskies (12 pts.).
  • UCLA (7-4-0, 3-2-0) improved to 6-2-0 at home with a 1-0 overtime victory against San Diego State, moving the Bruins into third on the Pac-12 table with nine points.

RPI Debuts

  • The official NCAA RPI debuted on Monday and the Pac-12 was represented by five teams inside the top 50.
  • Washington topped the initial index, edging fellow unbeatens New Hampshire and Georgetown.
  • Oregon State checked in at No. 5, San Diego State at No. 35 and UCLA and Stanford at Nos. 43 and 44, respectively.
  • The Pac-12 is the second-highest rated conference behind only the ACC, including the No. 1 league in non-conference RPI.

Huskies' Historic Start Continues

  • With its 3-1 win at Stanford on Oct. 7, Washington improved to 10-0-0 for the best start since the Pac-12 began sponsoring men's soccer in 2000.  
  • UW is currently 1-of-3 perfect teams in NCAA Division I along with No. 1 Georgetown (10-0-0) and No. 4 New Hampshire (12-0-0).
  • Washington's 11-0-0 start is tied for fifth-best across all current league programs and all years of recorded competition, the best since 1982.

United Soccer Coaches poll

  • Washington remained steady at No. 2 for the third straight week in the United Soccer Coaches poll, while Oregon State climbed two spots to a season-best No. 13.
  • UCLA is second among teams receiving votes, and San Diego State continues to collect votes.

Top Performers

  • For the third time in the past four weeks, Washington's Ryan Sailor earned a national team of the week nod, coming this week from Top Drawer Soccer.
  • UCLA collected its first national team of the week honor of the season with Tucker Lepley's recognition from College Soccer News.
  • Through six weeks, 11 different players from all six Pac-12 programs have been recognized on a national team of the week.
