Devils in Tallahassee Friday for NCAA Pre-Nationals

TEMPE --  The Arizona State cross country program is bound for Tallahassee, Florida, to compete in the FSUXC Invite/ NCAA Pre-Nationals meet hosted by Florida State. The men kick off Friday at 8 a.m. EST in the men's 8K garnet race, followed by the women at 9:45 a.m. EST in the women's 6K open. The races will take place at Apalachee Regional Park.

The Sun Devils are coming off the Oct. 1 Dave Murray Invite hosted by Arizona in Tucson. The men won their race thanks in part to a 17-second lead by Vincant Mauri who was followed by teammate Conant Smith. The women celebrated freshman Hayden Sparks' third-place 21:24.1 finish and another three competitors who placed in the top-15.
 
Following Pre-Nationals, ASU will compete in the Pac-12 Championships in Salt Lake City on Oct. 29.
