Sun Devil Men's Golf Head to the Sunshine State

The Sun Devil men's golf team is back on the road to Orlando, FL, to play in the Isleworth Invitational starting this Sunday (October 17) through Tuesday (October 19).

Isleworth Golf and Country Club is one of the toughest courses in Florida. Measuring 7,544 yards, the course has a slope of 142 and a rating of 77.5. Isleworth Golfs club was originally designed by  Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay but then designed by Steve Smyers in 2003.  This tournament has been played by now PGA players including Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, J.B. Holmes and Webb Simpson.

Hosted by the University of Central Florida, this year's tournament welcomes 14 collegiate teams. Teams include Augusta, California, Illinois, Arizona State, Florida, Auburn, Louisiana State, University of North Florida, Southern Methodist University, University of South Carolina, West Virginia University, Minnesota, and Coastal Carolina University.

Cameron Sisk: Sisk was awarded the Ben Hogan award and Pac-12 golfer of the month following his individual victory at Maridoe Collegiate Invitational  and a second-place finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational.

David Puig: Puig this past weekend competed in his first professional tournament at the Acciona Open de España, being awarded low amateur honors. During his Sun Devil play, Puig tied for second with Sisk at the Fighting Illini Invitational earlier this season

Mason Andersen: Andersen during his Sun Devil career has had 44 tournament starts, played 137 rounds and has had 85 rounds of par or better.

Ryggs Johnston: Ryggs Johnson placed 3rd in the NCAA Championship this past year. Johnston is also on the 2021-22 Haskins Award Preseason Watch List including David Puig.

Kiko Coelho: This will be Coelho's first tournament as a Sun Devil as he has played in many junior tournaments before his collegiate career including the Portuguese Youth National Championship, European Championship, World Teen and British USKids. 

Preston Summerhays: Freshman Summerhays has played in all three tournaments throughout the season.
