Wildcats Head to Washington for Showdown with Cougars

Oct 14, 2021

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Women's Swim and Dive team is set to compete in Pullman, Washington this Friday. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. MST Friday morning. Arizona men will compete later in the day at 3 p.m. MST. in a non-scoring meet with Arizona State in Tempe.

The Wildcat women will compete in their first Pac-12 action of the year when they take on Washington State. These two programs haven't squared off since the 2018-2019 season, when the Cats proved victorious over the Cougars by a score of 150-107. There are only two women on the current roster that competed in that dual meet, Aria Bernal and Alayna Connor.

Arizona last visited Pullman in the 2017-2018 season when they also took down the Cougars by a score of 161-101.

This marks the first official Pac-12 meet of the Arizona Swim and Dive Season.
