Cats Ranked 22nd to Start the Season

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Associated Press released its 2021-22 preseason poll on Tuesday morning with Arizona checking in at number 22 following its National Championship appearance last season.
 
The Cats are one of five Pac-12 schools in the top-25 with reigning National Champions Stanford leading the pack at third. All said, Arizona is set to square off with six squads in the preseason top-25 with conference games against Stanford, No. 10 Oregon, No. 14 Oregon State and No. 20 UCLA.
 
Along with those, the Wildcats are also set to throwdown with No. 6 Louisville and No. 25 Texas during the nonconference slate.
