WHAT TO WATCH
• Oregon's 8-2-4 record is the program's best 14-game mark in 40 years. The 1981 squad was 12-0-2 through 14 games.
• With one more win or tie, the Ducks will lock up consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 1980 (13-1-3) and 1981 (13-2-3).
• Oregon has eight shutout this season, one shy of the team school record of nine, set in 1981.
• The Ducks are the only team this fall that has shutout UCLA; they are also the only team to have shutout Arizona State.
• Individually, Leah Freeman leads the Pac-12 and ranks ninth nationally with eight shutouts. She is third in the conference in both goals against average (0.69) and save percentage (.862). The eight shutouts is an individual UO single-season record.
• Oregon has scored 24 goals in 14 games in 2021. Contrast that to last season: 12 goals in 16 games.
• No one has played in more matches in an Oregon uniform than fifth-year seniors Chardonnay Curran (87 - first), Mia Palmer (83 - second) and Eden Hardy (80 - tied for third).
• Chai Cortez is tied for sixth in the Pac-12 with five assists. That is tied for eighth on the UO single-season list.
• On Sept. 24, Oregon shutout No. 3 UCLA in a 0-0 draw in Los Angeles. It was the first time the Bruins had been shutout at home in more than three years. Leah Freeman (goalkeeper) and Chai Cortez (defender) were named Pac-12 players of the week.
• Oregon returned all 11 starters from last season's squad that posted the Ducks' first winning record (6-5-5) since 2006 (12-6-2), including all-conference picks Zoe Hasenauer, Croix Soto and Leah Freeman. Freeman was also named to the Pac-12 all-freshman team.
