  • The Trojans' current three-match winning streak matches the team's longest streak of the season established August 28-September 3.

LAST TIME OUT: USC fought through two tough road matches in the desert to go 2-0 and extend to a three-match winning streak. After going down 0-2 to the Sun Devils, the Trojans won three straight sets in dramatic fashion to upend ASU and earn their first five-set victory of the season. OH Kalen Owes came off the bench to spark the USC attack in the third set and finished with 12 kills. Similarly, USC dropped its first set to Arizona but won the next three to complete its first 2-0 weekend in the Copper State since 2015. S Mia Tuaniga posted her second of back-to-back double-doubles against the Wildcats and OH Brooke Botkin posted her 34th-career double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs. The three-match winning streak matched the longest streak of the season established between Aug. 28 and Sept. 3.

HOME, SWEET HOME: USC is 174-48 (.784) all-time at Galen Center. The Trojans went 12-1 in home matches in 2011 and completed the 2012 home schedule with a 17-1 mark. In 2007, USC was 19-0 at home on the way to an appearance in the NCAA national semifinal match. The Trojans are 20-4 all-time at Galen Center in NCAA tournament matches. The four losses were to Hawai'i (2008 and 2009) and San Diego (2018) each time in the second round; and to Washington in the 2013 NCAA Regional Final.
