SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Arizona Wildcats head to Southern California for the 2021 ITA Southwest Regionals, where eight Wildcats will competing in singles and doubles. The tournament will start on Thursday, Oct. 21 with doubles matches at 8:30 a.m. and move into singles after they are completed.

Junior Lexi Ryngler enters the tournament after winning her first singles match as a Wildcat in her last tournament. In doubles, she will be competing with her partner Parker Fry, who leads the team in singles wins after the first two tournaments. Fry has a 3-1 record in singles and will be taking on Nikki Redelijk from Pepperdine in the first round.
Senior Khim Iglupas will compete in her second tournament of the fall season after playing only one singles match in her first tournament at Baylor. She will be facing off against Wiktoria Rutowska from Loyola Marymount in the first round fo singles. Iglupas will be pairing up with freshman Midori Castillo-Meza, who is searching for her first win as an Arizona Wildcat.
Kayla Wilkins and Salma Ziouti will team up in doubles against Homolkova/Le Du in the first round. Ziouti has two wins during the fall season with her only two losses coming against ranked opponents. Wilkins is competing in her second tournament and is seeking her first win of the season against Elizaveta Volodko of UCSB.
The final doubles pair will be made up of two freshmen, Kayla Meraz and Belen Nevenhoven. Both freshman have two singles wins in the fall season with Meraz also earning a doubles win in her first tournament.
