Oct 22, 2021

The Sun Devil men's golf squad -- coming off a victory at the Isleworth Invitational (Oct. 17-19) plays in the East Lake Cup Oct. 25-27 at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. Golf Channel will have coverage each day from 3-6 p.m. ET (Noon-3 p.m. in in Arizona).

The East Lake Cup features top-performing teams from the NCAA Men's and Women's Golf Championships. Modeled after the NCAA Golf Championships, the format for the East Lake Cup consists of an opening round of stroke play to crown an individual male and female champion and determine seeding for the following two days of match play competition. ASU will be joined by 2021 NCAA champion Pepperdine, Oklahoma State and Duke.

East Lake Golf Course, home of the East Lake Cup, is the oldest golf course in Atlanta. Apart from the home event, it also hosts the TOUR Championship, the main event of the PGA Playoffs for the FedEx Cup. The course measures 7,346 yards and has a slope rating of 144 and a course rating of 76.2.

ASU shot 11-under 853 (277-292-284) to top Illinois who finished at 9-under 855 (289-284-282) to win the Isleworth Invitational. Sophomore Cameron Sisk (tied for fifth) continued his great play to start the 2021-22 season with a 4-under 212 (67-68-77).
