SEATTLE – The Washington women's soccer team is home for senior day on Sunday, taking on No. 5 USC (11-2-1, 6-0-1) at 12:00 p.m. at Husky Soccer Stadium. UW (4-7-3, 2-3-2) is coming off a hard fought 3-1 loss to No. 8 UCLA on Thursday night. The Huskies will honor their thirteen academic seniors, beginning at 11:20 a.m.

Olivia Van der Jagt scored the lone goal for the Huskies on Thursday, finding the back of the net in the 75th minute on an assist from MaKayla Woods. It was Van der Jagt's second goal of the season, with both coming in back-to-back matches. Woods' assist on the play was her first of the year.

Washington's 18 shots recorded on Thursday were the second highest output of the season, and the nine on goal were a season high.

Van der Jagt played in her 84th career match as Husky on Thursday night, which puts her in a tie for second all-time in program history. Ameera Hussen also made her 80th appearance for UW.

Summer Yates' goal against Arizona a week ago was her fourth of the season, converting a penalty after she was taken down in the box. It was also the 19th goal of her UW career and her 51st career point, which is tied for 10th in program history. In seven conference matches, Yates is averaging one point per game, 9th in the Pac-12.
