Oregon State Notables
- Oregon State owns the Pac-12's top scoring average at 35.1 points per game. The defense allows 24.7 points per game, giving OSU a plus-10.4 advantage, third best in the Pac-12.
- B.J. Baylor (118.4 rush yards per game) is sixth nationally to pace an OSU offense that averages 244.9 yards per game, good for seventh in the nation.
- The Beavers are receiving votes for the third time this season - weeks five and six are the first two. OSU is receiving 13 in the coaches poll and seven in the Associated Press Top 25 this week.

Last Meeting
- Jermar Jefferson ran for 196 yards and Tristan Gebbia passed for 147 yards and two scores as the Beavers defeated the Golden Bears, 31-27, in 2020 at Reser Stadium.
- Gebbia ran for a 1-yard score with 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter to serve as the game-winner.
- The OSU defense recorded two sacks and nine tackles for loss; Avery Roberts and Omar Speights picked up two apiece.

Following Up The Win Over Utah
- Oregon State is the first Pac-12 team to rush for more than 200 yards versus Utah since Arizona State (251 yards) on Nov. 3, 2018. The Beavers are just the 13th conference team to do so since 2011.
- B.J. Baylor is the first running back to run for more than 100 yards against the Utes this season. He's the first since WSU's Max Borghi on Dec. 19, 2020.

On This Date
- Oregon State has played on Oct. 30 13 times previously, going 4-8-1.
- The Beavers and Golden Bears have played on the date three times. Cal won matchups in 1920 and 1982 with OSU winning in 2010.
- OSU has won three straight on the date, in 1999, 2004 and 2010.

Make That Six-In-A-Row
- The Oregon State offense has rushed for 200 or more yards in six consecutive games, the Beavers' longest stretch since the 1993 team finished the season with seven consecutive. That team failed to complete a pass twice during that seven game streak.

Baylor Through Seven
- B.J. Baylor has a career-best 830 rushing yards through the first seven games of the season. That is first in the Pac-12 and 10th nationally.
- He has scored 10 touchdowns via the rush this season - eight of which have come at home - which ranks first in the Pac-12 and tied for 10th nationally
- Baylor has rushed for 100 or more yards in four consecutive games. He has five this season and six in his career.
- He owns five of the 23 100-yard rushing efforts by Pac-12 running backs this season.
- Three of the top four individual game efforts by a Pac-12 player belong to Baylor.
- Baylor averages 108.7 rush yards per game away from home this season. He averages 6.5 yards per carry, slightly down from his 7.4 at Reser Stadium.
- Baylor needs 170 yards for the 17th 1,000-yard rushing season by an Oregon State player. He would be the ninth to do it at least once.

4-0 At Home
- Oregon State's 42-34 win over Utah Saturday pushed the Beavers to a 4-0 record at home. That's a first for OSU since the 2012 season.

Roberts Extends His Pac-12 Lead
- Avery Roberts tallied his 13th career double-digit tackle effort with 16 in the win over Utah. That equaled his season high set in the Oct. 2 win over Washington.
- Thanks in large part to those two efforts, he has a Pac-12 best 78 tackles this season, 10 more than No. 2 Devin Lloyd of Utah.
- Roberts, who led the Pac-12 with 69 tackles a year ago, has led the Beavers in tackles in 13 of his 24 games with the program.
- He has 230 tackles in his Oregon State career. Thirty-seven of those 230 have come against Utah; he also had 21 versus the Utes in 2020.
- Oregon State is 7-6 when Roberts records 10 or more tackles.

Nolan Leading The Pac-12
- Chance Nolan leads the Pac-12's quarterbacks with a 157.90 passer rating, which is just ahead of Arizona State's Jayden Daniels at 152.56.
- Nolan was 14-of-19 for 208 yards and two touchdowns versus Utah after finishing 18-for-40 for 206 yards and no scores in his previous two games combined.

- Placekicker Everett Hayes is tied for the Pac-12 lead with 36 touchbacks this season, which equals UCLA's RJ Lopez. The 36 are tied for eighth nationally.
- Hayes ia averaging 64.86 yards per kickoff this season, which narrowly trails Arizona's Lucas Havrisik (64.92).
- OSU's opponents have returned just five kickoffs this season, third-fewest in the Pac-12.

Something About TFLs
- The Oregon State defense has tallied 23 tackles for loss versus the Golden Bears in the last two matchups. The 2019 Beavers totaled 14 on the strength of nine sacks. The 2020 team picked up two sacks and nine TFLs in the 31-27 win.
- The 14 TFLs in 2019 were the most since 2000 against San Diego State while the nine sacks were the most since 1999 against Stanford. They're the most OSU has ever recorded in a road game.
