Oct 26, 2021

STANFORD, Calif. - In conjunction with the Pac-12 Networks television selections, the Stanford wrestling program has announced its 2021-22 schedule.

The Cardinal, which is under the direction of head coach Rob Koll who is in his first season on The Farm, will wrestle in 10 duals and compete in some of the nation's most competitive collegiate tournaments.

The schedule is highlighted by the home opener on Nov. 13 against No. 3 Oklahoma State. Tickets are available now. Stanford's dual against the Cowboys is its only home ticketed event this season.

Stanford's first road trip will be a homecoming for Koll as the Cardinal heads to Ithaca, New York, to face No. 7 Cornell on Nov. 20 and will also make a stop at Binghamton on Nov. 21.

Stanford will make appearances at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite (Dec. 3-4), the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 19) and the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1-2).

The Cardinal boasts a heavy home schedule in January and February, beginning with California Baptist on Jan. 9. Stanford will travel to Arizona State on Feb. 4 for its only road Pac-12 dual, and will host Oregon State on Feb. 20 on Pac-12 Networks.

Arizona State will host the 2022 Pac-12 Championships in Tempe on Sunday, March 6 with the finals being aired on Pac-12 Networks. The NCAA Championships will be held March 17-19 in Detroit.

Stanford returns five NCAA qualifiers from 2021, including NCAA champion Shane Griffith and All-Americans Jaden Abas (7th, 2021) and Real Woods (first team NWCA, 2020). The Cardinal enters the 2021-22 campaign ranked No. 13 in the InterMat Preseason Tournament Rankings.
