Fall Men's Golf Season Comes to a Close in Atlanta

The Sun Devil men's golf team fell in the final match of the East Lake Cup against 2021 NCAA Champion Pepperdine (1-3-1) Wednesday afternoon in Atlanta.

Fifth-year senior Mason Andersen got a win for the Sun Devils after yesterday's win in the semifinals by defeating Pepperdine's Dylan Menante 2 & 1.
 
Sophomore Ryggs Johnston battled in a close match with the Waves' William Mouw through the first 15 holes after Johnson tied in his match yesterday in the semifinals. It ended with a win by Johnston for the Sun Devils 4&3.
 
Preston Summerhays,  Cameron Sisk and David Puig all fell in their matches, with Summerhays' losing 3&2, Sisk losing his match 5&4 and Puig falling 1-up Wednesday afternoon.
 
This is the Sun Devil's last event for the fall season. The next event will be the Copper Cup on Jan. 16, 2022, in Maricopa, which will kick off the spring season.
