CORVALLIS – The No. 14 Oregon State women's basketball team will welcome fans to Gill Coliseum for the first time in 615 days on Saturday, as the Beavers host Western Washington in an exhibition contest.
OSU and the Vikings will tip off at 1 p.m. The Beavers will open the regular season on Nov. 12 when Loyola Marymount visits Gill Coliseum.
Oregon State went 12-8 last season, winning nine of their final 12 games, with all three losses in that span coming to opponents that made the Final Four.
Oregon State returns three starters from last year's squad, including All-Pac-12 selection Taylor Jones, three-year starter Taya Corosdale and graduate transfer forward Ellie Mack. The Beavers will also look forward to the growth of freshman Talia von Oelhoffen, who made an impact on the squad after joining the team mid-season. Oregon State will also see the return of Kennedy Brown, who missed the entirety of last season due to injury after a stellar freshman campaign.
As a team, Oregon State is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Poll, marking the fourth time it has opened a year in the top-15.
Tickets to Saturday's game are available here. No live stream or radio broadcast will be available for the exhibition contest.
