Capalbo Set to Begin Play at ITA National Fall Championships

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah men's tennis player Franco Capalbo will participate in the upcoming ITA National Fall Championships. The tournament will take place from November 4th to November 7th at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
 
Capalbo earned a spot in the field by winning the ITA Mountain Regional Singles Championship. He will open play in the round of 32 against Andrew Rogers of Pepperdine. This match is set for a 1 p.m. MT. 
 
After the first round of singles, those who lose their matches will move to a consolation bracket until completion. The remaining competitors will face opponents until elimination in the main draw.

Capalbo has shown stellar performance during this fall season, and after claiming the regional title for singles, he will now compete with other champions at the national level. He also competed in the ITA All-American Championships, where he made it through the first round and has continued to train for this tournament. Capalbo is one of two Mountain Region competitors in the main draw and the only competitor from Utah in the main draw.
