Mulkey Named Preseason All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention

SAN FRANCISCO -- Washington senior Nancy Mulkey earned honorable mention recognition on the All-Pac-12 Preseason Team as selected by the media the Conference announced.

Mulkey enters the year with 108 games played and has recorded 1,160 points, 447 rebounds, 105 assists and 328 blocks while shooting .547 from the field in three years at Rice and one season at Oklahoma.
 
The 6-foot-9 center played in 27 games in 2021 for Rice, averaging 15.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.5 blocks. She was named MVP after helping the Owls to their first-ever WNIT title and was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year for the third time.
 
The Cypress, Texas, native was a named to the Lisa Leslie Watch List for the top center after being named a semifinalist for the award in 2021. She was also named a semifinalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year, Senior CLASS Award Second Team and to the watch list for the Becky Hammon Award.
