Pendleton In Year Two

Beaver Notes
• Oregon State returns 15 wrestlers who have competed at least once at the collegiate level. Nine of those 15 have competed in at least 20 bouts.
• Oregon State has arguably one of the toughest schedules in the nation this season. The Beavers, per Intermat, are scheduled to compete against the top three teams in the preseason rankings - No. 1 Iowa, No. 2 Penn State and No. 3 Arizona State. OSU is also slated to take on No. 13 Stanford, No. 20 Cal Poly and Nov. 24 Lehigh.
• OSU welcomes a trio of wrestlers ranked in the preseason. Cory Crooks, at 149, joins OSU from Arizona State where he won nine matches in 2021. 184-pounder Tanner Harvey comes from American where he was a NWCA Honorable Mention All-American in 2020. He finished with 52 wins at American. Lastly, heavyweight Gary Traub joins the Beavers from Ohio State, where he was an NCAA qualifier in 2020 after posting a 23-9 record.
