Malbasic and Hassey Reach in Doubles Final in Jack Kramer

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The senior doubles pair of Filip Malbasic and Carlos Hassey stormed through the doubles bracket to earn a spot in the doubles final of the Jack Kramer Tournament where their road ended against No. 12 Quinn Vandecasteele and Joshua Charlton from Pac-12 rival Oregon.

In singles, the Wildcats did not perform as well as the first day, with all four Wildcats suffering losses in their quarterfinals matches. Following the early singles losses, Malbasic and Hassey opened up with a dominant 8-1 victory in their first doubles match against UCSB. The pair would continue their excellent doubles play with a 8-2 victory over Fradkin and Wild of UCLA.
