USC Men’s Volleyball Has Mixed Results At USC Fall Tournament

The USC men's volleyball team split into two squads and competed with mixed results in the 2021 USC Fall Tournament on Saturday (Nov. 6) in the Galen Center Pavilion

The USC Cardinal team split its matches against Concordia, 25-27, 28-26, and Long Beach State, 27-29, 25-21, and fell to UC Irvine, 25-20, 26-24, 15-10.

The USC Gold squad split its match against Cal State Northridge, 21-25, 25-15, and lost to both UC San Diego, 30-32, 25-22, 15-3, and to UC Santa Barbara, 31-29, 25-23.

Ten teams competed in the tourney: USC, Stanford, Concordia, Long Beach State, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, Cal State Northridge, Vanguard and Saint Katherine.

The Trojans will conclude their 3-tourney fall schedule by participating in the UCLA Fall Tournament next Friday and Saturday (Nov. 12-13). USC then will open its 2022 regular season at the UCSB Asics Invitational on Jan. 6-8.
