Beavers Set to Open Season Friday at Gill
THE GAME: The No. 14 Oregon State women's basketball team will open its 2021-22 season on Friday, when Loyola Marymount visits Gill Coliseum. The game is slated to tip at 8 p.m.

WHAT'S UP NEXT: Oregon State will continue a run off three-straight home games to open the year, as it will face Cal Baptist on Wednesday and CSU Bakersfield on Saturday.
THE OPPONENT: Oregon State is 2-1 all-time against Loyola Marymount and 2-0 in the sides' two matchups at Gill Coliseum. The teams last met in 2013, with the Beavers taking a 92-54 win. OSU knocked down a then-school record 17 3-pointers, with program greats Jamie Weisner and Sydney Wiese combining to account for 10 made longballs.

- Was likely on her way to All-WCC honors during her junior year before her season was ended by injury. At the time Codding was averaging 14.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game
- Earned WCC Player of the Week honors on Dec. 15, 2020 after scoring 27 points against Kansas.

- Finished her high school career with 1,735 career points - the third highest total in Naperville North High School history, despite having her senior season cut short due to COVID-19.

- Four time Texas Girls Coaches Association 6A All-State selection.
