Bruins in the NFL: Week 9

Twenty-one former UCLA football standouts were in action during Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season. Cassius Marsh made his debut with Chicago, while his former UCLA teammates Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks had big performances for Minnesota. Week 10 will see Barr and Kendricks return to Los Angeles with a visit to SoFi Stadium to face off with Joshua Kelley, Scott Quessenberry and the Los Angeles Chargers.

  • Krys Barnes, ILB, Green Bay Packers – Starter Barnes contributed a game-high nine total tackles, including one assist that went for a loss of two yards.

  • Anthony Barr, OLB, Minnesota Vikings – Starter Barr made a leaping play at Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson's overtime pass and gathered his deflection for an interception.

  • Jayon Brown, ILB, Tennessee Titans – Brown returned from injured reserve to a starting spot, making seven total tackles in Tennessee's road win versus the Los Angeles Rams.

  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers – Clark posted one tackle in a starting role.

  • Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Fairbairn made each of his three field-goal attempts, from 31, 40 and 20 yards. Two of his four kickoffs went for touchbacks.

  • Demetric Felton, RB, Cleveland Browns – Felton was again all over the field for victorious Cleveland, accumulating one catch for 22 yards, two punt returns for four total yards, one kickoff return for 11 yards and an assisted tackle on the game's opening kickoff.

  • Darnay Holmes, CB, New York Giants – Starter Holmes made five total tackles in the Giants' win.

  • Myles Jack, OLB, Jacksonville Jaguars – Starter Jack was a standout performer in the Jacksonville win, making seven total tackles – including one for a loss of yardage – and a quarterback hurry that led to an interception by teammate Josh Allen.

  • Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – Kelley logged three carries for six total yards and caught a pass for four yards in the Chargers' win.
