Solder's Performance Highlights #NFLBuffs For Week Nine

BOULDER- Former Colorado Buffalo offensive lineman Nate Solder was tasked with slowing down Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby for the New York Giants on Sunday.  Solder and the Giants offensive line did not allow a sack against the highest-graded edge rushers accoring to PFF in the team's 23-16 win.  

Davion Taylor also had a career-high eight tackles including a huge hit that made all the highlight films as the Eagles lost to the Chargers, 27-24. 

Here is what happened with all other former Buffs across the NFL in week nine.

Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Cincinnati Bengals
Had one tackle while appearing in 96% of the defensive snaps in the Bengals stunning 41-16 loss to the Cleveland Browns. 

Mason Crosby, K, Green Bay Packers
Was 1-for-1 on extra point attempts in the Packers 13-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Phillip Lindsay, RB, Houston Texans
Led the team with eight carries for 28 yards in their 17-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Laviska Shenault Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars 
Had four catches for 24 yards in the Jaguars 9-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Jimmy Smith, CB, Baltimore Ravens
Played in one defensive snap and four special teams snaps in the Ravens 34-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings. 

Davion Taylor, LB, Philadelphia Eagles
Had a career high eight tackles including one tackle-for-loss while playing in 71% of defensive snaps in the Eagles 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. 

Josh Tupou, DT, Cincinnati Bengals 
Had one tackle and played in a season high 52% of snaps in the Bengals loss to the Browns.

Ahkello Witherspoon (Steelers) did not play against the Bears. 

David Bakhtiari (Packers) is still on the PUP list. Isaiah Oliver (Falcons) is on injury reserve. Ken Crawley (Saints) is still on COVID-19 reserve.

Kabion Ento (Packers) , Arlington Hambright (Bears), Steven Montez (Lions), Daniel Munyer (Titans), Will Sherman (Patriots) and Juwann Winfree (Packers) are all on their team's practice squads.
