USC Cross Country To Compete At NCAA West Regional Friday

Nov 10, 2021

The USC women's cross country team will be competing at the 2021 NCAA West Regional (6K) to be held at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, Calif. on Friday, Nov. 12.  The race will be at 10 a.m. PT and is hosted by Sacramento State and the Sacramento Sports Commission.

For the first time since the 2014 season, the Trojans are sending a squad of five or more athletes which qualifies them in the team competition.  Since that time, the most Trojan runners to compete at the Regional meet were three during the 2015 season.

Trojans who are scheduled to compete on Friday are seniors Alyssa Brewer and Jemima Russell, junior Mihajla Milovanovic and freshmen Maya LaCamp, Gigi Maccagnini and Giovanna Pisano.

None of the Trojan athletes have competed at the West Regional before.
