TUCSON, Ariz. -- Jill Aguilera was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team today, making her a nominee for the Academic All-America teams.
This is Aguilera's second CoSIDA All-District honor, after being awarded the same honor for the 2020-21 season. Along with that, Aguilera was named CoSIDA Academic All-American Third Team last season as well as being a Pac-12 All-Academic and a two-time Pac-12 Academic honor roll selection as she completed her undergraduate degree in Sports and Society with a GPA of 3.85. She is currently completing her Master's degree in Real Estate Development with an ongoing 4.00 GPA.
Aguilera set the program record for total career goals when she scored her 33rd career goal against the Sun Devils in her final match at Arizona. This season she finished at the top of the Wildcats leader board, with nine goals and one assist, earning her 19 points. She is leaving Arizona in the top-10 of seven different Arizona records including top five finishes in career goal, career assists, and career game winners.
Aguilera recently had her playing rights acquired by the the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL.
