Riley Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

UCLA defender Brianne Riley has been selected to the 2021 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer First Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Riley, a junior sociology major from San Clemente, Calif., holds a 3.71 cumulative grade point average. A two-year starter, Riley has played in every game the past two seasons, making 35 starts and leading UCLA to two Pac-12 titles. This season, she scored her first career goal, the game-winner at Oregon State and also assisted on two game-winning goals. She earned Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll honors in 2020-21.

Riley will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
