Two Signees Added To Sun Devil Family For 2022

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Two were added to the Sun Devil Volleyball family on National Signing Day, as Olivia Johnson and Leah Miller are both set to join the team next season.

Olivia Johnson
San Diego | Scripps Ranch High School | Middle Blocker | 6-5

  • Played in the 2021 Junior Olympics, earning a silver medal in the open division.
  • Part of Scripps Ranch High School's varsity squad.
  • Named to the 2021 Varsity invitational Classic All-Tournament Team.
  • Played for Coast Volleyball.
  • AVCA Best and Brightest Award 2021.
  • Has a 4.04 GPA. 
  • Plans to study in the W.P. Carey School of Business.
  • Her parents are Jennifer and Benjamin.

Sanja Tomasevic: "Olivia is a great culture kid we are adding in the class of 2022. She comes from a high-level club experience and is excited to learn and work hard. Olivia is a great kid, great student and at 6'5" has tons of potential to become an amazing middle blocker for us in the Pac-12."
 

Leah Miller
Las Vegas | Rancho High School | Right Side | 6-0

  • Four-year varsity starter at Rancho HIgh School.
  • 2019 All-Southern Nevada First Team.
  • 2019 Nevada Preps All-State First Team.
  • Played for Dig This! Volleyball Club.
  • 2021 All-Tournament Team at Nationals.
  • Plans to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology. 
  • Her parents are Michael and Lisa.
  • She has one older brother, Andre.
