Beavers Drop Road Contest To Iowa State

AMES, Iowa – Oregon State fell 60-50 to Iowa State in its first road game of the season on Friday night at Hilton Coliseum.
 
Warith Alatishe and Maurice led the Beavers (1-1) with eight points apiece. Alatishe added nine rebounds and four assists.
 
Roman Silva and Jarod Lucas each scored six points.
 
Gabe Kalscheur led the Cyclones (2-0) with a game-high 15 points. Izaiah Brockington had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
 
Iowa State outscored the Beavers 17-1 on fast break points and 12-5 on points off turnovers.
 
Oregon State will next face the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at 6 p.m. PT on Monday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla.
