SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced today the All-Pac-12 Women's Soccer honors for the 2021 season, as voted on by the league coaches. Husky senior Summer Yates was named All-Pac-12 First Team, her second consecutive First Team recognition.
It was the third Pac-12 honor of Yates' career, as she earned All-Pac-12 Second Team as a sophomore. Yates led the Huskies this fall in goals (5), assists (5), and points (15) while starting all 18 contests at midfield. Yates finished the year on a high note, recording a point in seven of the last eight matches, including two game-winning goals.
Her 13 points in Pac-12 matches were seventh in the conference and her SOG% of .587 was the highest of any player with more than 25 shots.
In four seasons at Washington, Yates has been a constant producer, totaling 20 career goals, which is tied for 10th all-time in program history. Her 17 career assists put her seventh in the Husky record book and her 57 career points are eighth all-time.
