- UCLA welcomes back former Bruin and now-Buffalo TE Matt Lynch. The former Bruin quarterback played that position for the Bruins from 2016-18 before making the switch to tight end in 2019 before transferring to CU for the 2020 season.
- UCLA leads the all-time series 11-5, with a 7-1 mark against the Buffs in California.
