USC’s Nike Agunbiade, George Korovin Win During Day Two of Trojan Diving Invitational

USC junior Nike Agunbiade took first on women's 3-meter while junior George Korovin led a 1-2 Trojan finish on men's platform during the second day of the Trojan Diving Invitational, Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

The 2021 Pac-12 3-meter champion Agunbiade won the event with 618.15, including 289.50 from prelims. Sophomore Maddie Huitt was third in the finals with 571.85.

Junior Savannah Stocker finished the day fifth with 553.60, followed by freshman Grace Lee (sixth), 530.65.

Korovin took the men's platform competition with 773.45 for Troy, with 406.75 coming in prelims. Machida finished second with 524.05, 252.20 coming in prelims.

For the second consecutive day, Korovin posted a Zone qualifying point total, surpassing the 300 mark with six dives and a standard degree of difficulty.

Action concludes Sunday with women's platform and men's 1-meter 11:00 a.m. prelims and 12:30 p.m. finals.
