Nov 13, 2021

SAN DIEGO/LAS VEGAS - Utah women's tennis team advanced two doubles teams, one at the SDSU Fall Classic and one at the Jolene Watanabe Classic, to the finals of their draws. The finals will take place on Sunday, the final day of both classics.

"Doubles again was a highlight for us at both tournaments, and I am proud of how we are continuing to grow there," remarked head coach Ric Mortera. "I am pleased with how Madison, Lindsay, and Anastasia were able to bounce back from their matches yesterday. Linda put herself in some great situations against one of the better players in the country, and we will learn from those situations and be ready for them the next time. We are excited to get back to competing again tomorrow and finish the fall slate strong."

In the Black Draw of doubles in The SDSU Fall Classic, Lindsay Hung and Katya Hersh came away with their second 6-1 victory in the draw. They won by the same score yesterday. Hung and Hersh defeated Alex Kuo and Hailey Stelse of Air Force in the semifinals on Saturday. Hung and Hersh will play Bunyawi Thamchaiwat and Tamara Arnold of SDSU in the finals.
