Arizona Falls to No. 19 Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – The Wildcats were swept by No. 19 Oregon on Tuesday night. Jaelyn Hodge led Arizona with 12 kills, but Oregon's defense out-blocked the Wildcats to slow their attack.  
 
Set 1 | Arizona - 13, Oregon - 25
The Ducks won the first set 25-13. Dilara Gedikoglu came out strong for the Cats, knocking down three kills and adding a block. Oregon's offense came out stronger and hit .219 to take the first set in the match.
 
Set 2 | Arizona - 18, Oregon - 25
The Wildcats put up a strong fight in the second set, but Oregon won 25-18. Hodge found her rhythm in the second set with six kills and Gedikolgu recorded three kills again. Zyonna Fellows tallied a solo block, but it wasn't enough to keep Oregon from taking the two-set lead.
 
Set 3 | Arizona - 14, Oregon - 25
Hodge led Arizona's attack once again with five kills, but the Ducks eventually won 25-14. Merle Weidt recorded three kills and four Cats each tallied one kill. Despite an early Wildcat lead, Oregon took the lead halfway through and hit .448 in the final set to win the match.
