SEATTLE -- The Pac-12 race is in its final week as 12th-ranked Washington has two more big challenges standing between it and a conference title. The Huskies (22-4, 15-3 Pac-12) make a final one-match road trip to Boulder, Colo. to meet the Buffaloes for the first and only time this season in a Wednesday matinee. First serve from the CU Events Center will be 12 noon Pacific time in a live-stream-only match.

The Huskies will then be back in Seattle for Thanksgiving and prepare for the regular season finale and Senior Day against 21st-ranked Washington State on Saturday, Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. That match will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks Washington. If the Huskies can defeat both Colorado and Washington State, they will win at least a share of the Pac-12 title, which would be UW's second of the calendar year, and seventh in program history. UCLA, also at 15-3, is aiming for its own share with two wins of its own, while the Cougars at 13-5 are still in the hunt if they go 2-0 and UW and UCLA slip up.

Washington has won six straight and 15 of its past 16 to overcome an 0-2 conference start and earn a shot at the title this week. Senior Samantha Drechsel was named AVCA National Player of the Week on Tuesday, thanks to her 30 kills and combined .551 attack percentage last week in wins over Oregon State and Oregon. Drechsel, Emma Calle, and Lauren Sanders are the three fifth-year seniors to be honored on Saturday.

The Buffaloes are 15-12 overall this season and 6-12 in conference play. Colorado defeated Cal in its most recent match, prior to that falling in four sets at home to No. 19 Stanford. Maya Tabron had 18 kills against the Cardinal, then in the win over Cal, Jill Schneggenburger had 11 kills and hit .550. In conference play, Colorado leads the Pac-12 with 15.95 digs per set, led by Brynna DeLuzio who leads the league with 4.88 per set. CU's .214 attack percentage is ninth. Alexia Kuehl is 12th with a .327 attack percentage and Meegan Hart is ninth with 1.09 blocks per set. Washington played twice in Boulder last year, getting a 3-2 win and a 3-0 win.
