TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball (16-15) was selected to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship on Sunday night. This will be Arizona's 30th postseason appearance and the first time that Arizona has participated in the NIVC since its conception in 2017.
The Wildcats will face UTRGV (17-10) on December 3rd at 6 p.m. MST in McKale Center. New Mexico State (19-9) and UNLV (23-9) will play at McKale Center on December 3rd at 3 p.m. MST. The winners of each match will face each other on December 4th at 4 p.m. MST.
Arizona is 16-15 this season with eight conference wins to finish eighth in the Pac-12. The Cats are led by Jaelyn Hodge who recorded 338 kills and is averaging 3.19 kills/set this season. The defense is led by Kamaile Hiapo with 3.66 digs/set and Zyonna Fellows who is averaging 1.02 blocks/set.
