Beavers Release 2021-22 Indoor Schedule

Dec 6, 2021

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's track and field team announced its 2021-22 indoor schedule on Monday. Over the course of the indoor season, the Beavers will mark four stops in Portland, Ore. at the University of Portland, and make four appearances on the University of Washington indoor track in Seattle, Wash.

"It will be nice to get back to a full slate of an indoor season.  For 99 percent of our team, they haven't competed indoor since 2020, so they are excited to get back out there.  We are also excited to try out some new venues this indoor season. We're especially interested in the new indoor track in Spokane, Wash.  But, most importantly, as a staff, we are just grateful to be competing again," said head coach Louie Quintana.

The Orange and Black will open the indoor season on Dec. 11 with the Spokane Qualifier in Spokane, Wash. The Beavers' season will go into full swing on Jan. 9, when they travel to Portland, Ore. for their first of four meets at the University of Portland. On Jan. 15, OSU is slated to compete at the UW Indoor Preview, hosted by Washington in Seattle, Wash. The Beavers will return to Portland for a second meet (Jan. 22-23) before their trail leads them back to Seattle for the UW Invitational (Jan. 28-29).

February will see the Beavers make appearances at the WSU Invitational, hosted by Washington State (Feb. 3-5) and third Portland meet (Feb. 5-6). On Feb. 11-12, the squad will split to compete at the Husky Classic, hosted by Washington, and the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, hosted by New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.

The Pac-12 Invitational is scheduled for Feb. 25-26 in Seattle, Wash. and the NCAA Indoor Championships are set for Mar. 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala.
