SAN FRANCISCO – UCLA football redshirt junior receiver Kyle Philips, redshirt junior tight end Greg Dulcich and junior offensive tackle Sean Rhyan were each named to the 2021 Football All-Conference first team, the Pac-12 announced Tuesday. The trio of first-teamers highlights a list of nine Bruins to merit league honors.

Philips, who was also selected as the second-team return specialist, led all Pac-12 receivers with 10 scoring receptions in 2021. He topped the UCLA receptions list for the third straight season, the first Bruin receiver to do so since Craig Bragg did it over four straight seasons from 2001-04. Philips rated second in the Pac-12 in receiving yards per game (67.18) and was third overall in receptions per game (5.36). He completed the regular season fourth on the all-time UCLA list for receptions (163). Philips also returned nine punts for a 22.6-yard average, including an 82-yard scoring return against Colorado. The Bruins enter the bowl season second in the nation in punt-return average (20.0).

Dulcich, a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end, rated fifth overall in the Pac-12 in receiving yards per game (60.4). He caught 42 passes on the season for a 17.3-yard average which ranked as the third-best mark nationally among tight ends in 2021. Dulcich added two 100-yard performances to his resume in 2021, with a 117-yard effort in UCLA's win over LSU and a 136-yard night against Arizona State.

Rhyan helped pave the way for the Bruins to average over 200 yards per game on the ground for the second straight season (215.1) while producing a 1,000-yard rusher in Zach Charbonnet. It marked the first time since the 1985-87 seasons that UCLA has achieved consecutive 200-plus yard rushing campaigns. UCLA ranks 16th nationally in rushing offense and led the Pac-12 in scoring (36.5).

In addition to Philips' second-team honor as a kick returner, UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and running back Charbonnet represent the Bruin offense. The second-team defense includes Bruin outside linebacker Mitchell Agude, as well as, defensive backs Qwuantrezz Knight and Quentin Lake.

Thompson-Robinson led the Pac-12 with a 153.94 passing efficiency rating and was second among league quarterbacks with 21 touchdown passes in 2021. Charbonnet ranked second in the Pac-12 in rushing yards (1,137) and rushing yards per game (94.8). Agude rated 11th nationally in forced fumbles with a 0.33 average per game and added 6.5 tackles for loss. Knight paced UCLA in tackles (66) and tackles for loss (8.5) this season. Lake topped Bruin defenders with six passes defensed and tied for the team interceptions lead with three picks.

Running back Brittain Brown, who owns the best yards per carry average among Pac-12 rushers (6.03), and offensive guard Paul Grattan, Jr. were each named honorable mention.
