LOS ANGELES – Head Coach Jason Gill announced the 2022 USC baseball schedule this week, with the Trojans opening the season at home on February 18.

The schedule features 33 home games, 20 road games and a full Pac-12 slate, with the first ever Pac-12 Tournament punctuating the regular season. The Trojans open the year at home against Santa Clara (Feb. 18-20), and will be at Dedeaux Field the first three weekends of the season.

NON-CONFERENCE SERIES

USC's season opening series against Santa Clara (Feb. 18-20) will be followed by home series against Omaha (Feb. 25-27) and Wagner (March4-6) before Pac-12 play begins. The Trojans will have a non-conference series against San Jose State at home (April 1-3) in the midst of conference action as well. USC does not have a non-conference road series on the slate.

NON-CONFERENCE MIDWEEKS

The Trojans have 12 non-conference midweek contests on the schedule, with seven at home and five on the road. USC will host single home games against UC San Diego (Feb. 22), UConn (March 15), Cal State Fullerton (March 22), Seattle (March 30), Hawaii (April 4), UC Santa Barbara (May 3) and CSUN (May 3).

The Trojans will be on the road for single games against LMU (March 1), CSUN (April 12), Cal State Fullerton (April 19), Long Beach State (May 11) and UC Santa Barbara (May 17).

PAC-12 ROAD SLATE

USC will begin Pac-12 play with a crosstown showdown at UCLA on March 11-13 as one of five Pac-12 series the Trojans will play on the road. USC will also be at Oregon (March 25-27), Arizona State (April 14-16), Washington State (April 29-May 1) and Stanford (May 19-21). The series at Stanford will be the last of the regular season before the Pac-12 Tournament.

PAC-12 HOME SLATE

The Trojans host Cal (March 18-20) for the first of their five Pac-12 home series. Also coming to Dedeaux Field will be Oregon State (April 8-10), Utah (April 22-24), Arizona (May 6-8) and Washington (May 13-15).

PAC-12 TOURNAMENT

The inaugural Pac-12 Baseball Tournament is scheduled for May 25-29 at Scottsdale Stadium (Arizona). The double-elimination tournament will be spread over five days at the Spring Training home of the San Francisco Giants. The top eight teams in the Conference standings at the conclusion of the regular season will earn berths in the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament, from which the champion will receive the Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE

The Pac-12 is coming off of a season in which six teams earned NCAA Tournament bids (Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Stanford, Arizona), tied for the second-highest total in league history, including three regional hosts (Arizona, Stanford, Oregon) for the sixth time since national seeding began in 1999. A pair of the Trojans' non-conference opponents also made the NCAA Tournament last season, with UC Santa Barbara hosting a regional and UConn garnering a two-seed in the South Bend Regional.

BROADCAST SCHEDULE

The Pac-12 Network broadcast schedule was released in conjunction with today's schedule announcement and USC has a total of six series being televised on the network. The Trojans' showdown at UCLA will be on the Pac-12 Network, along with the series against Utah, Washington State, Arizona, Washington and Stanford.

All of USC's home games not televised on the Pac-12 Network will be streamed live on Pac-12+ via USCTrojans.com. Streaming information for all non-televised road games will be updated as it is received. Broadcast links for all USC games are available on the baseball schedule page at USCTrojans.com.

FAN ATTENDANCE/TICKETS

After two seasons of limited to no fan attendance at Dedeaux Field due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trojans expect to welcome the general public back to USC home games in compliance with all state and local guidelines during the 2022 season. Fans should make sure to check on all mandated event attendance guidelines before attending any USC event. Tickets for all USC home games will be available for purchase in January.
