Cal Announces 2021 Team Awards

BERKELEY – Chase Garbers and Elijah Hicks have been selected as Cal's 2021 Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Player. Hicks was the lone Cal player of the 20 honored at the team's post-season dinner Monday to garner more than a single 2021 team honor as he added the Andy Smith Award for the most playing time by a Cal player. Hicks combined to play 964 snaps on defense and special teams in his final campaign with the program.
