2022 Men's Tennis Schedule Announced

EUGENE, Ore. – Head coach Nils Schyllander and the Oregon men's tennis team announces the 2022 schedule which begins Jan. 15 with a doubleheader against Boise State and Seattle. The next month is primarily nonconference matches, with one Pac-12 matchup on Jan. 22 at Washington.

Jan. 15: Home opener doubleheader vs. Boise State and Seattle
March 5: Pac-12 home opener vs. Washington
March 13: Home double-header vs. Portland and Montana State
April 20-23: Pac-12 Championships (Ojai, Calif.)
 
Oregon starts the season with consecutive doubleheaders at home, hosting Boise State and Seattle on Saturday, Jan. 15, followed by UC Santa Barbara and Portland State on Monday, Jan. 17. The Ducks first home conference match is on March 5, as hosts to Washington at 2 p.m.
 
In cooperation with local health authority and safety protocols, fans will be permitted at UO home events, and at this time, masks are required indoors unless while actively eating or drinking.
 
Joshua Charlton and freshman Quinn Vandecasteele start the year at No. 17 in the ITA doubles rankings after a strong fall season, winning the Jack Kramer Invitational and advancing to the ITA Super Regionals in Washington. They wrapped up the 2021 season with a 10-3 record as a pair.
 
The Ducks also return three players—Jesper Klöv-Nilsson (18), Charlton (13) and Vandecasteele (13)—that finished the 2021 season with double-digit wins in singles play.
 
Oregon finished the 2021 dual season with a 17-7 record and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
