USC Men's Basketball Earns Highest AP Top 25 Ranking Since 1992 At No. 8
LOS ANGELES — USC Men's Basketball jumped two spots in the AP Top 25 poll this week and earned its highest ranking since the final week of the 1991-92 season at No. 8.
The Trojans (11-0, 2-0 Pac-12) defeated UC Irvine at home on Wednesday and Georgia Tech in Phoenix last Saturday to remain as one of six undefeated teams left in men's college basketball.
USC shares the Top 10 with fellow Pac-12 teams UCLA (No. 5) and Arizona (No. 6). The Trojans face the Wildcats at Galen Center on Jan. 2.
USC's team activities have been paused due to confirmed COVID-19 cases within the Trojans program. USC's next scheduled game is Dec. 30 against Arizona State.
