USC Men's Basketball Reaches Highest AP Top 25 Poll Ranking Since 1975 At No. 7

LOS ANGELES — The USC men's basketball team continues to rise in the AP Top 25 poll, reaching No. 7 in Monday's rankings.

It is the Trojans' highest ranking since Jan. 27, 1975 when USC was ranked No. 6.

USC (12-0) is one of five undefeated teams remaining in men's college basketball, joining No. 1 Baylor, No. 8 Iowa State, No. 16 LSU and No. 20 Colorado State. The Trojans are also one of three Pac-12 teams in the top 10 along with No. 5 UCLA and No. 9 Arizona.

The Trojans last played on Dec. 18 and have paused all team activities due to COVID-19 protocols. USC's next scheduled games are on Jan. 6 at California and on Jan. 8 at Stanford.
