Bruins in the NFL: Week 16

Eighteen former UCLA football standouts were in action during Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season. Ten made starts. Former teammates Anthony Barr of Minnesota and Conor McDermott starred of the New York Jets starred, as Barr posted the first two-interception game of his career and McDermott caught a one-yard touchdown pass after reporting as an eligible receiver.

  • Krys Barnes, ILB, Green Bay Packers – Starter Barnes registered five total tackles as Green Bay improved its league-best record to 12-3.

  • Anthony Barr, OLB, Minnesota Vikings – Starter Barr posted the first two-interception game of his career to go along with seven total tackles and a quarterback hurry.

  • Jayon Brown, ILB, Tennessee Titans – Brown recorded five total tackles as Tennessee narrowly beat San Francisco to keep sole possession of first place in the AFC South.

  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers – Clark made five total tackles in a starting role, helping Green Bay edge out Cleveland.

  • Demetric Felton, RB, Cleveland Browns – Felton took back four kickoffs for 83 total yards. His long return of the game went for 28 yards.

  • Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – Kelley rushed five times for seven yards and caught one pass for 14 yards.

  • Eric Kendricks, MLB, Minnesota Vikings – Starter Kendricks made seven total tackles and has a career-high 119 stops for the season.

  • Marcedes Lewis, TE, Green Bay Packers – Starter Lewis caught two balls for two total yards in Green Bay's win.

  • Conor McDermott, OT, New York Jets – McDermott reported as eligible during the fourth quarter and made the most of the opportunity, catching a one-yard touchdown pass. The Jets defeated Jacksonville by a 26-21 score. The touchdown marked the first of McDermott's career.
