Utes in the Pros: Week 17 Preview, Week 16 Recap

Dec 30, 2021

SALT LAKE CITY – Week 17 of the NFL season features no Thursday Night Football and a Sunday slate full of crucial games with playoff implications. Only two playoff berths are still available in the NFC while the AFC still has six with nine teams in contention.

Terrell Burgess, Matt Gay and the LA Rams (11-4) have clinched a playoff spot but will have a tough game on their hands visiting Tyler Huntley and a hungry Baltimore Ravens team on Sunday. The Ravens (8-7) are still on the outside looking in and could use some help from the AFC leading Kansas City Chiefs who will be taking on the AFC North leading Cincinnati Bengals (9-6).

Eric Rowe and the Miami Dolphins (8-7) continue their winning streak stretching it to seven games. The Dolphins have had a roller coaster season and are now the first team ever to lose seven games straight and turn it around with a seven-game winning streak. The Dolphins travel to Tennessee (10-5) on Sunday in a pivotal AFC matchup. The game is set to kick at 11 a.m. MT and will be aired on CBS.
