USC's Isaiah Mobley Named To Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Watch List

USC junior forward Isaiah Mobley was named to the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Watch List for Most Outstanding Player, it was announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club on ESPNU today (Jan. 5).  Chosen by a poll of national college basketball experts based on their performances during the 2021-22 season thus far, the list comprises of 25 student-athletes who are front-runners for the sport's most prestigious honor.

Mobley has helped lead undefeated No. 7 USC to a 12-0 record by averaging a near double-double with 15.0 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game.  Both of those numbers lead the Trojans and his rebound average is tops among Pac-12 players.  Mobley also leads USC with 20 three-point baskets made and is second on the team in steals with 11 and third among Trojans with 34 assists.

Mobley has had five double-doubles this season and has averaged 17.9 points and 10.3 rebounds the last seven games.
