Arizona Men Take Down SMU
Tucson, Ariz. - The Arizona Swim and Dive team competed this weekend when the men took on SMU while the women competed in an exhibition meet with NAU.
The Arizona men proved to be victorious over the SMU Mustangs by a score of 179.5 to 109.5.
Brooks Fail once again paved the way to victory for the Wildcats, as he won all of his individual events on the weekend in the 200 fly, 400 IM, 500 & 1000 free.
Ryan Purdy was the other Wildcat on the weekend to take home first place honors in multiple events, winning the 100 & 200 back events.

Wildcat men relays swept their races against SMU winning the 200 & 400 free relays along with 200 & 400 medley relays.
Delaney Schnell set yet another school record Friday afternoon when she scored 360.38 in the 1-meter, beating the previous record set by Samantha Pickens in 2011 when she posted a score of 354.08.
Arizona Swimming and Diving will be back in action next Saturday 1/15, when they will host their Senior Day against Utah.
