Several former Huskies are now playing in the National Football League. Below is a look back at last week's games, presented by Toyota.
NOTABLE PERFORMERS
In the final week of the NFL regular season the Pro Dawgs still showed out. 2015 first round draft pick Shaq Thompson recorded six tackles. Thompson recorded over 100 tackles three seasons in a row for the Panthers, 104 in 2021, 113 in 2020, and 107 in 2019. Rookie Keith Taylor Jr had four tackles for the Panthers. On the other side of the field, Vita Vea ended the day with two tackles. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka had 3 tackles and two pass deflections for the Buccaneers. Pac-12 Championship Game MVP Taylor Rapp had eight tackles, one pass deflection and one interception. Rapp finished the regular season with a team-high four interceptions. Greg Gaines added four tackles for the L.A. Rams. Rookie Elijah Molden had six tackles and one tackle for loss for the Titans. Defensive back Sidney Jones had six tackles and one pass deflection in the Seahawks win over the Cardinals. 4x Pro Bowler Budda Baker had 3 tackles. Byron Murphy added three tackles, and Darrell Daniels had one tackle on special teams. Tacoma legend Desmond Trufant had four tackles and four pass deflections. Kevin King had three tackles for the Packers. Rookie Levi Onwuzurike had one tackle for the Lions. Drew Sample had one reception for eight yards for the Bengals. Myles Gaskin had three receptions for 11 yards in the Dolphins win over the Patriots.
